The historic property Moidart was established in 1932. In subsequent years it developed a large cold climate garden which has become one of the iconic gardens of the Southern Highlands of NSW.
Famous for its collection of rare plants, bulbs, trees and shrubs a nursery was opened in 1970 to propagate many of these rare specimens to make them available to other nurseries, landscapers and garden lovers.
Our horticulturist has selected a number of these specimens and made them available for retailers and landscapers to purchase in our ON-LINE SHOP.
The famous gardens at Moidart are open for a number of weeks each spring and at other times for bus tours and groups by arrangement - see our Open Garden page for details. Members of the public can purchase a select range of plants at the nursery between Monday and Friday see the Open Garden page for details.
