An evergreen specimen from South Africa,Albiflos produces a dense cluster of white
flower heads from early April to late July, being dormant in summer.

The leaves are an attractive broad leathery dark green. This variety prefers shade. The bulb’s upper half lies above the ground and is bright green.

The white flower heads are 30 - 50mm wide with bright yellow or orange anthers when ripe, then produce a bright orange or red berry with a musty odour. Grows to 25cm high.
